Naviant Announces Intent to Acquire CASNET’s Software Division

Verona, WI & Akron, OH – October 20, 2017 – Naviant, Inc., a leading OnBase by Hyland solution provider based in Verona WI, today announced they have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire CASNET’s software division based in Akron OH by November 1st, 2017.

The acquisition is structured so Naviant will acquire CASNET’s software division, which includes all OnBase and ApplicationXtender clients, as well as CASNET’s professional support and account management teams. CASNET will retain ownership of the CASNET service bureau and eWIX solution.

Thoma Bravo to Acquire Lexmark’s Enterprise Software Business

Thoma Bravo, a leading private equity firm, today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement with Lexmark International Inc., a global imaging leader, to acquire Lexmark’s Enterprise Software business, which is made up of three primary businesses: Kofax, ReadSoft and Perceptive Software. The closing of the transaction is subject to usual and customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, and is expected to occur in the third quarter of 2017. Apex Technology Co Ltd, PAG Asia Capital and Legend Capital Management Co, LTD, who acquired Lexmark in November of 2016, support the sale of the Enterprise Software business.

Upon closing of the transaction the Perceptive Software business, including Perceptive Content (formerly ImageNow), Perceptive Intelligent Capture (formerly Brainware), Acuo VNA, PACSGEAR and Enterprise Medical Image Viewing will be sold to Hyland Software, Inc., an existing Thoma Bravo portfolio company and leading provider of enterprise content management software led by President and CEO Bill Priemer. The Kofax and ReadSoft businesses will create a single, newly independent Thoma Bravo portfolio company under the Kofax brand, and will be led by Reynolds C. Bish, current President of Lexmark Enterprise Software.

OnBase named Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management

WPS Health Solutions Receives Excellence in Case Management Award

Low-code dynamic case management solution provides a 360-degree view of information to drive WPS’ credentialing processes

The Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) has awarded WPS Health Solutions (WPS) the 2016 Global Award for Excellence in Case Management for its use of OnBase case management functionality to accelerate its data-driven provider credentialing process.

WPS was selected for its use of a dynamic case management solution to connect and automate information to review and enroll more than 100,000 physicians and medical facilities that offer Medicare services. Utilizing the low-code case management capabilities within OnBase resulted in tremendous success for WPS, to:
