Naviant, a leading enterprise content management solutions provider, announced today that it is partnering with Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota to identify and develop the business requirements needed to double the current wishes granted to children per year to 500.

Tom Suter, Managing Partner of Naviant Group said, “The program started earlier this year with Naviant completing a detailed review of the Grant-A-Wish process and based upon those findings suggest real-time fixes to improve current procedures as well as create a future state road map to support the strategic objectives of Make-A-Wish. Our collective goal is to increase the number of children that can be served each year by streamlining the Grant-A-Wish process and creating visibility on how the process is performing, thus enabling the process and infrastructure to handle the increase in volume.”

Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota is a chapter of one of the world’s leading childrens charities. “We are very thankful for the opportunity to make a donation of our services to a caring organization and to assist with increasing the volume of wishes granted,” Suter said.

Tom McKinney, Executive Director, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota said, “Naviant was engaged to streamline our processes and improve our infrastructure, enabling us to move on our goal of granting many more wishes without doubling our costs and staff. We also wanted to find ways to make it easier to refer a child, in particular the child referral process by doctors. And, importantly, ensuring our donor money is used as efficiently as possible for the benefit of the children.”

Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota will introduce and start implementing some of the solutions in early fall, McKinney said. “We expect the improvements will allow us to start serving more kids in a timely fashion and to affect better communications between their families and our staff,” he added.

“Without Naviant’s thorough review of our processes and systems and their suggested recommendations, we’d not be able to serve more of the eligible children in Minnesota without increasing donations and staffing levels substantially,” McKinney said.

Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota was founded in 1982 and has granted more than 3,000 wishes to children across the state. The Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
