OnBase Case Management | Naviant Summit 2015

This 30 minute presentation on OnBase Case Management at Naviant’s 2015 Annual ECM Summit will provide you with a foundational understanding of What is Case Management, and how it differs from traditional ECM, BPM and workflow. The Summit was held at Lambeau Field, so there is a fun football theme to it. Back in the 60s, Lombardi’s favorite play was the power sweep. Like the Packers’ offense, enterprise content management (ECM) has evolved. ECM started with document management (DM) in the 80s, which evolved to ECM, then advanced to include business process management (BPM), and now encompasses enterprise information management (EIM). The next phase is case management (CM). Case Management as a concept provides a 360o view of the information you need to make complex business decisions, and on a basic level, it uses workflow for normal transactions and adds in the “case” management component for exceptions. In this session, we will explore how Case Management can be applied to a fun example – planning Aaron Rodgers wedding – as well as a real-life business example from one of our customers.
