Where to Use Content Portal
The Content Portal can optimize operational efficiency across many industries, including Insurance, Finance, Government, and Higher Education. It can also be applied to key business processes in departments like human resources, accounts payable, accounts receivable and more. Have an inquiry submission form? A vendor searching for an invoice? A customer wanting to make a secure payment? An employment application and hiring process with applicant tracking? An order form and order tracking? With all these use cases and so many more, the Content Portal is a highly scalable solution that can help you achieve excellence in many areas across the enterprise.
Provide Faster Service and Better Experiences to Your Customers
The Content Portal provides customers with online access at the front end. This way, they can independently navigate to the content they need when they need it. As a result, you can reduce calls and long wait times, which makes your work life easier and lets your customers spend less time on hold.
Customers can also use the Content Portal to self-service from any location. Better yet, it lets them use any desktop or mobile device they want, whether it’s a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer. These conveniences will make communication far easier.
Traditionally, a customer could only access services between the standard business hours of 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Friday. The Content Portal lets businesses overcome this obstacle by giving customers 24/7 on-demand access to the content they need. This frees your staff from unnecessary administrative tasks and gives your customers the seamless experience they demand and deserve.
Boost Your ROI
No matter how many systems your organization relies on, the Content Portal can work with them. For one, the Content Portal seamlessly integrates with OnBase, Perceptive Content, and OnBase WorkView, offering a low-code configurable case management framework for creating business apps without complex coding. But it can also integrate directly into your legacy portals and other lines of business systems. This means you can further maximize the ROI of these pre-existing systems.
When it comes to use cases, the Content Portal is a highly flexible platform. It’s well-equipped to drive user experiences across industries and departments, with its most common use cases including government and higher education portals and accounts payable departments.
Why Content Portal
01.Accessibility and Inclusivity
02.Low-Code Digital Services
Accessibility and Inclusivity
Right out of the box, Content Portal lets you save time and stay inclusive. The Content Portal is compliant with WCAG 2.1, Section 508 & EU Directive and gives the ability for the end user to save their progress while completing forms so they save time when submitting complex forms. This benefit is especially vital for government institutions, as ADA compliance is a mandatory requirement, and the Content Portal ensures you can make it happen.
Low-Code Digital Services
Whether your users have technical skills or not, they can interact with the Content Portal. It integrates with OnBase WorkView, a low-code configurable framework for creating business apps without complex coding. When you combine the power of WorkView and the Content Portal, your team can manage case-based processes and make more data-driven decisions, all from a single consolidated system.
Additionally, form templates in the Content Portal simplify data integration with OnBase, supporting document creation and WorkView case generation.
Since the Content Portal integrates with OnBase, Perceptive Content, OnBase WorkView, and your other legacy portals and systems like BluePrism, the Content Portal can leverage all the data and information across the enterprise. It integrates with Amazon Lex to offer users the ability to enable AI (artificial intelligence) chatbots into your customer service processes. This ensures that all your data is accurate and up-to-date and lets you make the most of your existing systems.
The Content Portal provides Government-strength security, scalability, and reliability. That’s why some of the largest public service organizations in the world trust it.
Fanshawe College Transforms into a Paperless College with the Hyland Content Portal
Before implementing the Hyland Content Portal, Fanshawe College’s process for data collection relied heavily on paper forms that needed to be manually scanned into their Perceptive Content system. This was time-consuming and data entry was error-prone. Developing online forms required substantial effort from inhouse developers as at the time they used a custom solution. To reach their goal of becoming a paperless organization, Fanshawe College decided to implement the Hyland Content Portal.
Since implementation, Fanshawe College has seen significant improvements. The ability to rapidly create online forms has transformed and automated operations across the organization, particularly in the Registrar’s office, significantly decreasing wait times for students, turnaround times for processing student data improved dramatically, and data collection became more secure with reduced data entry errors."
