Are your PDF documents opening in Adobe outside of OnBase when you would like them to open in OnBase Unity Viewer? A browser plug-in may be causing the issue and if that is the case it is easy to resolve.
Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools, Manager add-ons. Click on the down arrow on the left side to change Currently loaded add-ons to All add-ons. Scroll through the list on the right side for your PDF reader, in this case Adobe PDF reader. Verify it is set to Enabled.
In some cases you may need to disable it, exit Internet Explorer and then open Internet Explorer again to enable it. To test make sure the OnBase client is completely closed, for example if you are using Outlook Integration, Outlook needs to be closed and re-opened.
