Low-code dynamic case management solution provides a 360-degree view of information to drive WPS’ credentialing processes
The Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) has awarded WPS Health Solutions (WPS) the 2016 Global Award for Excellence in Case Management for its use of OnBase case management functionality to accelerate its data-driven provider credentialing process.
WPS was selected for its use of a dynamic case management solution to connect and automate information to review and enroll more than 100,000 physicians and medical facilities that offer Medicare services. Working with Naviant, an authorized OnBase solution provider, WPS deployed its OnBase enterprise information platform. Utilizing the low-code case management capabilities within OnBase resulted in tremendous success for WPS, to:
- Streamline its credentialing process for provider enrollment from 62 days to 19 days, gaining 69 percent improvement
- Reduce printing costs associated with its 1.4 million pages of paper it printed annually
- Simplify its reporting processes, to manage, understand and validate information on provider enrollment applications
- Meet adherence to strict provider enrollment timeliness and quality standards
