OnBase Software Training Course Offerings
Priced right, OnBase and Naviant offer one of the lowest cost end-user training amongst competitive solutions in the industry at $3,000 per course. Hyland, creator of OnBase, offers an entire suite of OnBase Training Courses, including:
- System Administration
This is where everyone starts as it builds the foundation to your OnBase education and is a pre-requisite to all other courses.
- Introduction to Workflow
This is typically the second training people will complete and it is a pre-requisite for all other workflow training courses.

- Workflow Design
- Web Server
- API Training
We currently offer four different ways to attend OnBase Training Courses, which are outlined below. Please note the cost is the same, regardless of which option you choose, other than travel and expenses.
- Online Classroom with Hyland
- Onsite at Naviant in Verona, WI
We offer OnBase System Administration and Introduction to Workflow at Naviant every year in the spring/early summer.

Hyland Community Website
Once you have officially received your OnBase Software, you gain access to Hyland’s (creator of OnBase) online user community website. You will find an abundance of information and answers to most questions you have regarding OnBase. To request your login information to access this complimentary resource, simply have your users click on the link above and register.
Hyland, creator of OnBase, offers free self-paced mini training courses. These web-based training courses are available online at training.onbase.com and can be accessed at any time. You will use the same login as your Hyland Community, which you can register for once you officially receive your software.
OnBase User Groups (VOGUE)
VOGUEs are Vertical OnBase Group of User Experts established by Hyland Software, creator of OnBase. A VOGUE is a customer user group within a particular industry. There are user groups for the Commercial/ Manufacturing, Credit Union, Financial Services, Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, and Insurance industries. Each user group offers educational programs, networking opportunities, a website with discussion boards and more! To join, you must first have a Hyland Community Profile and then visit Hyland Community > Connect > User Groups and register to join.
Naviant’s OnBase Advanced Community of Practice Group
Naviant has an exclusive invite-only Community of Practice Group for our most experienced clients with advanced OnBase solutions. This group meets a few times a year to discuss, share, create, and take-away solutions for the collective and individual benefit. We strongly believe in sharing and learning from each other’s experiences to improve, enhance, and leverage our respective OnBase implementations. Ideally, all participants will be onsite to attend the meeting; however, we do allow remote participants.
Naviant’s Local Government and Tribal Community of Practice Group
Facilitated by clients and hosted by Naviant, this government community of practice are invited to come together a few times a year to discuss, share, create, and take-away solutions for the collective and individual benefit. Questions and topics are called for ahead of time and will largely drive the meeting content. Ideally, all participants will be onsite to attend the meeting; however, we do allow remote participants.
Naviant Summit – Annual Content & Document Management Conference
