Recently Kofax released version 10 of their Kofax Capture solution.  With every release there are enhancements to existing features and the addition of new features.  Below is an overview of some of the improvements they have made.

The most visible update in version 10 is a completely updated user interface that leverages Microsoft Fluent UI standards.  The look and feel mimics that of the Microsoft Office Products.  Batch filtering has also been added so that you can now setup filters within batch manager and other attended modules, so that you are only seeing information based on specific criteria.

Components and modules can now be deployed and ran using your web browser, removing the need for a person to install the client on all workstations.  When the URL is launched the components will be installed if there are not already there.  This is not truly a thin client installation as the components are still installed on the workstation, but can be run from inside an Internet Explorer window.  They have added language packs which allow you to add multiple languages to a single system installation.  These can then be directly deployed to specific installations.  The Administration API and Runtime API have both been improved in many ways for those that have custom code.

If you are running an older version on Kofax Capture and are interested in upgrading, please contact your sales representative or PSG support.
