The OnBase HSI account is the owner of the OnBase database and, as such, can be used to do a tremendous amount of damage if it falls into the wrong hands. The general practice for many in the recent past has been to configure the ODBC connection using HSI credentials. Although most end users wouldn’t know what to do with that power, there are safer options that do not impact their ability to do their regular work.
